As a digital writer, it's crucial to know how to sell your work. Social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn are crucial to spreading your message. Here are examples of posts to endorse my article.

Twitter

On Twitter, you can only use so many characters. This is why it's important to make your message stand out and be matter-of-fact and to the point. By doing this, it makes readers want to engage with your post. To achieve this, I highlighted a shocking fact on my topic to hopefully make my followers and others want to read my article. The use of hashtags is also important, especially on Twitter, to spread the message to others.

Instagram

Instagram has a more forgiving character count. Therefore, I was able to add more details and make the caption more personable. I did this by once again choosing a shocking fact, and also listing other ways pollution affects us. However, I still limited my use of words to make the post straight to the point and make readers want to learn more. It's important to not provide too much information too quickly.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a network platform filled with professionals in various industries. When promoting articles on LinkedIn, it's important to know exactly what you're talking about and demonstrate to potential employers that you know how to write, create interesting graphics and sell products. You never know who can come across the post, so it's important to engage as many people as possible. The use of hashtags here are also important, especially using broader hashtags to branch out your network.
